BONE GRAFTING MADE SIMPLE: EVERYDAY TECHNIQUES WITH PRF & CBCT FOR THE GP

$395.00Price

Bone loss following tooth extraction is an inevitable biological process — but with the right technique and materials, it can often be minimized or prevented. This full-day continuing education course is designed for general dentists who want to incorporate bone grafting and socket preservation into everyday practice without a formal surgical background.

Topics include alveolar bone loss, clinical indications for grafting, and practical decision-making for when to treat versus refer. Participants will also learn GP-focused CBCT interpretation, including bone measurement, identification of critical anatomy, and treatment planning using scan data. The course reviews the four categories of bone graft materials and barrier membranes, along with practical selection guidelines based on defect type, patient factors, and cost. Also, a dedicated PRF session covers the science, centrifugation protocol, and clinical applications including PRF membranes, plugs, and sticky bone technique.
