Blood therapy, a new trend in anti-aging and skin regeneration.
A trend for rejuvenating skin that has emerged in the past few years requires the use of one’s own blood to be re-injected into skin. By using CGF (Concentrated Growth Factors - the most advanced form of platelet concentrates) and PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) from platelets, your blood is used to heal regenerate tissues and build collagen.
This treatment modality harnesses the healing power of platelets – components in the blood that initiate and regulate tissue repair – and release biphasic growth factors from blood to stimulate a stem cell response. Then stem cells help you to grow new collagen and blood vessels, repair and regenerate damaged skin, and help slow the signs of aging. CGF is now widely used in orthopedic medicine, dentistry, sport medicine, gynecology, dermatology and reconstructive surgery. Now, Doctors have discovered its healing and regeneration properties can also be used in cosmetic to stimulate skin rejuvenation.
This cosmetic course will teach doctors how to add safe cosmetic procedures to their practice. Participants will discover the use of PRP/PRF for cosmetics including treatments for aging skin, scar therapy and hair loss. In addition to PRP/PRF, you will have an intro to ozone therapy in cosmetics as well. Dr. McMonagle will share how she has added this to her clinic and marketing tips to be successful. Treatment protocols will also be shared. Upon completion of this course, each provider should be able to add PRP therapy to their practice. You will learn about easy to use equipment and is effective and cost effective. Also you will learn how to use platelet rich concentrates to treat different types of scars.
During this 2 day Special hands-on course, participants will learn the following treatments:
• LPCGF (Liquid Phase of Concentrated Growth Factors) is an autologous non-surgical cosmetic treatment with wonderful results in facial rejuvenation. As an autologous mesotherapy, the material that we use is derived from our client’s own blood. We use the Medifuge CGF blood phase separator.
• APAG (Activated plasma albumin gel) is a new filling material. It is produced by our own blood cells and it is the only filler that is totally natural and biocompatible. We use the Medifuge blood phase separator and the APAG denaturation devices.
• ICF (Inductive Collagen Formation) is a new autologous mesotherapy treatment, which enhances the production of collagen in the skin. We use the Medifuge blood phase separator and the APAG denaturation devices.
• OZONE – The use of ozone in cosmetics and well as how to use ozone to activate platelets.
